Based in the historic district of Québec City, La Maison Smith has long been admired for its elegance, hospitality, and craftsmanship, with several iconic cafés and a roastery that continues to elevate the city’s coffee scene … not to mention, Head roaster - Marianne is a genius!!

Established by a group of passionate entrepreneurs who wanted to blend modern coffee culture with the timeless charm of Old Québec, La Maison Smith has built a brand that embodies warmth and refinement. Their roasters balance traditional European inspiration with contemporary roasting practices, producing coffees that are smooth, layered, and expressive.

Their values are grounded in authenticity and community. Every coffee is selected for its origin story, and each roast is designed to honour both producer and consumer. They emphasize sustainable sourcing, fair trade, and close relationships with their suppliers across Latin America.

The Limoilou Blend is their flagship espresso offering, featuring beans from Nicaragua, Brazil, Costa Rica, and Mexico. Grown between 1,000 and 1,400 MASL and roasted to a balanced medium, it delivers tasting notes of milk chocolate, caramel, and toasted almond with a touch of citrus brightness. This blend is as versatile as it is sophisticated — equally exceptional as espresso or filter.
